Tithe Barn Wedding ceremony and reception one of Ribble Valley’s finest country houses – Browsholme Hall :)

The day began at Ashlea and Shaun’s house with a secret plan ready to put into action… Ashlea had been planning a secret helicopter ride for Shaun to arrive at Browsholme Hall in style :) So off Peter went with the boys to take to the skies above sunny Lancashire…..but the airport traffic control said no :( There was no time slot available for them to take off until 10 minutes before the wedding ceremony, which even by helicopter was cutting it a bit fine! But with every great wedding there is a little hiccup or two and the boys took it in their stride, making the most of the ‘scenery’ at the farm where they were due to take off!

A wedding day in the atmospheric Tithe barn

The whole day was to take place at the Tithe Barn a great rustic styled part of the Browsholme estate, with beams and stone galore and adorned with lace and fairy lights the barn looked amazing for Ashlea & Shaun’s ceremony. Their children kicked off proceedings, as the very cute Macie and Jayden entered the barn first to much cooing from all their guests! After the ceremony, drinks and games in the courtyard made the most of the sunny weather, just the day before the rain had been biblical so these guys were definitely in luck today!

The boys take to the lake

Ashlea wasn’t too keen to take to the lake at Browsholme Hall in her wedding dress, so instead she’d decided it’d be great if all the ushers took to the water! And they all came back dry, well mostly! After the lake exploits we slowly sauntered back to the barn, with a few pit stops for a few piccies! Musical intros to all the speeches really gave the whole evening a great atmosphere, with an amazing video finale from the best man – great stuff!
