Just a few miles from Manchester and all this scenery makes for the perfect summer engagement shoot backdrop

We totally LOVE this setting, the perfect eShoot location for a young, dynamic and energetic couple like Ally & Chris. Their wedding will take place in Suffolk early next year, which we’re really looking forward to, these guys (and their friends no doubt) have bags of energy, it’s going to be wild!

The perfect start to a northern weekend away

They were ‘up North’ for a reunion in the Peak District which gave the perfect opportunity for this shoot to take place. There’s a magnetism between these guys that was palpable, they’re so into each other… as were the billions of midges we encountered. Ally & Chris seemed to fair quite well, but poor Sara was eaten to the point she could have played a Klingon in Star Trek! No worries, she’s recovered fine :) phew!

Through bramble and nettles!

These guys were definitely up for anything and trekked through the undergrowth to reach some of the best locations, this is one of the great things about an engagement shoot – you’re not wearing a big white dress and light coloured shoes – so off-roading is on! We were so impressed with the purple heather it seemed to be glowing a fantastic vibrant purple, it just had to be included in some the shots, we’ll have to remember this again early September seems to be the time for this great show of colour – adds another dimension to the photos.
