A piece of history
Your wedding is a fairly historic event in your life, so why not surround yourselves with history either in bricks and mortar or surrounded by artefacts from the past! The mixture of old weather worn buildings, dramatic interiors or rusting antiquities is a fantastic juxtaposition in your photographs against the sparkle and smiles of a wedding day. For this perfect combination have a nosey at some of these venues…..

Priest’s House, a simply stunning location in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales, with the option of bunk barn accommodation for guests to stay on site. With a maximum of 34 to dine this is definitely one for the intimate wedding, but without compromise on the building or scenery (some limitations on when you can have your wedding as they also cater for larger marquee weddings in the summer months).
Just a small selection from what is a huge and diverse area of England, there’s so many different great venues out there and it’s always worth thinking outside the box too. If you’ve got an amazing location in mind why not just ask the owners and see if you can create your own unique wedding day :) Why not embrace Yorkshire for your whole wedding?
