Mere Court Wedding – A Country House Hotel Cheshire wedding

Back at a familiar Cheshire venue for this Mere Court wedding with Joanne & Charlie had met the Pixies a few years back at Joanne’s brothers winter wedding. It’s always nice to go back to the same families a few years later, with extra mini person added too :) Their new mini person Ollie was very cute in his little page boy suit too, good job they’d waited the eleven years they’d been together just in time for a little nephew to play a part in their wedding :)

Fresh grass green wedding colour scheme

We loved Joanne’s choice of bridesmaid and cravate colour a really fresh green. We’ve never seen this before and it looked amazing alongside the flowers that her sister in law had made for them – good work Tiggy :) The whole day ran like clockwork, from the very chilled out relaxed morning with Pilar (an excellent MUA with corsetry experience too for those awkward dress moments!) to a fantastic summers day on the lawns, a perfect Mere Court wedding reception.

A ‘just married’ moment alone

After the ceremony Joanne & Charlie snook off for a few moments together out for a drive in their car. Always nice to escape all those guests and reflect on just being married. The speeches took Charlie back to college days where he’d managed to become quite the star as photographic evidence proved, much to Charlie’s dismay and everyone else’s entertainment! The rest of the day Joanne just kept on smiling and smiling, definitely winning the prize for ‘smiliest bride 2015’ – why not it’s not every day you marry your best friend :)
