Suzi and Scott – St.Mark’s Church Worsley, Old Trafford and Mottram Hall Wedding, Cheshire.
Suzi and Scott both work in TV production, we now seem to get a lot of TV associated clients thanks to Media City, so they know how to plan an event! Suzi certainly had a lot of ideas, great for us as we like it when everyone’s involved, but also she was very realistic that everything on her wish list might not happen, especially as it’s such a live event! There was also a secret plan too, shhhh!
Blush pinks & sharp suits
Suzi’s dress had a subtle hint of blush pink, this years trend of light colour hue’s in wedding dresses seems to be holding out, and matched the subtle pink bridesmaids dresses really well. An important element of Suzi’s outfit was the something old which was in the form of the veil which had been her grandmothers veil.
Scott and the boys all arrived in their very sleek Beatles styled suits, along with their page boy, official ring security – check out his badge! All guests safely arrived, well apart from the odd heel stuck in a grid! Very funny!
Church wedding ceremony, with a smile or two :)
Suzi’s bridal party procession was in the traditional English order of bride first followed by bridesmaids, very classy. The vicar made an extra special effort to include them in her fun sermon, quite the Vicar of Dibley!
A secret enroute mission
So for the secret mission, a stop off at Old Trafford on the way to Mottram Hall. Suzi had arranged this without Scott knowing, so he could have a few photographs outside his adored football club :) All the guys also had their own football team cufflinks, and there was a definite theme running through with Panini World Cup sticker albums cropping up everywhere! At Mottram Hall, Pimms and pink straws were the order of the day, with scrumptious mini barms to keep those hunger pangs at bay, fed and watered guests = happy guests! Suzi and Scott, also fed and watered and we were off to take in the Rose garden, ornamental lake and all the lush greenery at Mottram Hall.
Big skies, lush green and a setting sun
For the wedding breakfast the pink theme prevailed with delicate rustic flowers and stripey pink popcorn favours, to tie in with the other theme of movies, as Suzi and Scott are avid film buffs. Into the evening light, led by giant white balloons, we took advantage of a great sunset surrounded by the Cheshire countryside.
