The perfect garden party wedding – Altrincham wedding photography.
“So incredibly pleased with our photos and experience with Sara & Pete! From day one they were super responsive and flexible to our needs. Having two of them meant not a moment was missed on the day! They were lovely to work with, and knew exactly how to go with the flow of the wedding. Most of all the photos really captured the mood of the day as well as the people. Neither of us like ‘posed’ photography so wanted photographers who knew how to capture everything naturally. They really brought lots of creativity to shots in a way that we haven’t seen with anyone else’s wedding photos. We really can’t recommend them enough – don’t look any further!”
We love garden party wedding – when your family have a garden with a lawn big enough for a gorgeous traditional marquee then it’s really such a perfect option. Clare & Faisal knew they wanted wedding photography that artistically told the story of the day with no fuss at all. Faisal also working in the creative industries knew the style of images he loved so tracked us down and that’s how our part of the story begins.
Altrincham and Hale Barns wedding preparations
Clare and Faisal had made their way up from their home in London, to prepare Clare’s family home for the wedding day celebrations. On the wedding morning Clare and all the family were at the family home, great for everyone to get together one last tie maybe before the family home was to be down sized. The garden fully decorated with crazy photos, marquee fully installed and games ready for the guests to arrive later in the day. Having a celebration at home means all those little things that mean so much can be incorporated into the photos and create memories forever. As well as having to time to tinkle on the piano keys before you hit the road for the ‘I do’s’. Faisal meanwhile had all his family staying locally at The Bulls Head and a everyone had their part to play in Faisal’s transformation into the dapper groom.
Altrincham Town Hall wedding ceremony
As if it was planned Altrincham’s town hall was the ideal choice for this low key celebration. Neither part wanting a big fuss, the simple but classic town hall setting fit the bill perfectly. Aisle walked, tears, love, confetti, hugs and a few family pics – all the boxes ticked. Married. Now time for that summer garden party. Clare & Faisal’s friends had even given them the full treatment with cans and squirt foam messages adorning Clare’s car for their (noisy) journey home :)
Garden party marquee wedding reception
It was July and for once the British summer was doing the sunshine thing, maybe they’d brought it up from London! The higgle-de- piggledy garden was just ideal for all their friends to mingle whilst enjoying the very scrumptious Indian street food canapés – delicious! Croquet, swing ball, champagne, family, friends, laughs, hugs – it was just as you imagine and better :) Into the evening the light was simply stunning with the sunsetting behind the mature trees around the garden – we couldn’t have asked for a better day with nicer people. Again not ones for fuss, no first dance, just everyone hit the dance floor to boogie away the night.
Garden party super relaxed weddings for the win!
