A Browsholme Hall wedding, around Lancashire for an early May wedding featuring an iconic red Morgan sports car :)

We’d been looking forward to Hye-Jin and Jonathan’s wedding all year, we love a new venue and especially one as gorgeous as Browsholme Hall and the Tithe barn. This was the first of our 2014 international flavour weddings without leaving the shores of Blighty! Hye-Jin and Jonathan both work in Hong-Kong. We’d initially met over Skype, as they arrived back in the UK just days before their wedding.

The ceremony was to take place at the very English church in the village of Waddington. A really cute village with it’s fair share of pubs for pre-wedding drinks, not that Jonathan got to enjoy them as he arrived with minutes to spare having got stuck in traffic! Their was no such fluster with the girls who all got ready at Orchard cottages, only a 5 minute stroll from the church. Hye-Jin arrived in style and perfectly co-ordinated with her bridesmaids in a bright red Morgan 4/4, very classy :)

St. Helen’s Waddington was a fantastic church for wedding photography, with access to almost all areas, a luxury compared to some church ceremonies. The vicar was quite nervous, having practiced his foreign name pronunciation quite a few times, not many Koreans in deepest darkest Lancashire!

After the service, we followed Hye-Jin & Jonathan for a few shots on top of the Lancashire moors, taking in the amazing countryside and the fab car too :) Then to Browsholme Hall, for the festivities to begin, with Pimms to drink, a creche for your wedding hat, chilled out music, a tour of the hall, a sack race and croquet to fit in all before the wedding breakfast! In between all that we managed to sneak off for a few mins with Hye-Jin and Jonathan for a tour of the grounds and of course a spot of rowing on the lake, with help from Mr. Parker the very friendly owner :)

Korean speeches and dress modifications for dancing!

The wedding breakfast and speeches, including the grooms speech in Korean and ‘wedding speech bingo’ kept everyone entertained for some time, leading to some moody evening shots in front of Browsholme Hall. A few quick dress alterations, utilising the seamstress skills of the bridesmaids then onto the first dance!

The ‘Pixies’ enjoyed their first Browsholme Hall Wedding, looking forward to more soon…especially as we didn’t manage to get chance to go inside the hall this time ;) Congratulations to Hye-Jin and Jonathan on a perfect day!
