Hollin Hall Hotel, Cheshire Wedding Venue close to Macclesfield, with views over rolling Cheshire hills.
The weather leading up to Kelly and Brad’s wedding had been sun, sun and more sun, quite unusual for an English Spring….but the April showers were now on their way with vengeance.
It turned out fine actually, we’re getting quite lucky these days with dodging monsoons :)
Kelly & Brad’s wedding was an intimate occasion and celebrated in the typical English country house of Hollin Hall, complete with grand staircase and set within it’s very own gardens and woodland. We’re usually a little concerned when a wedding party, small country hall and bad weather mix, but we were very pleasantly surprised by how Hollin Hall accommodated everyone with ease. Very spacious and plenty of rooms to mingle – perfect.
We had a great time capturing their fantastic day and during a couple of breaks in the rain we managed some gorgeous English country garden portraits of the bride and groom (lucky we had our trusty (bride’s) wellies with us :) The only soaked person was me as some of the best shots can only be achieved lying down in that lovely wet (soaking) grass… yum! Check out those portraits on that amazing staircase too.
Congratulations Kelly & Brad :)
