Didsbury Wedding Photography – a summery August Wedding.
‘Thank you so much for all your hard work on the day; the pictures are absolutely stunning and we are so thrilled with them! We are so pleased we asked you to capture our special day, the pictures are everything we hoped for and more. Thank you again! Lorraine and Chris x’
It’s summer time, time for all teachers to get hitched and have their honeymoon’s before it’s ‘back to school’ :) So this weekend we have two teachers tying the knot, both Lorraine & Chris are tasked in their everyday lives with education – so early August was the ideal time to get wed! In fact they’d managed to find one of the rare summery weekends of this years ‘summer’?!
Eleven Didsbury Park & The Didsbury
The morning began in the idyllic setting of 11 Didsbury Park, with quite a picnic of goodies for all the girls to enjoy – except Lorraine was a little to nervous to make the most of all the yummy food on offer! Chris was beyond nervous, he was an emotional wreck – good job weddings only come around once! As each new person greeted Chris at The Didsbury Pub he tried hard to hold back the tears hiding behind his strategic sunglasses, marrying Lorraine was definitely the right choice with this much emotion flowing through :)
St. James’ church Didsbury wedding ceremony
On cue Lorraine and her bridesmaids entered the cool interior of St.James church, with the equally cool (in a different sense!) vicar proceeding over their marriage ceremony. Chris managed to just about hold it together, well at least until his friends began singing for their register signing then he was off again! Now Mr & Mrs the congrats flowed as these guys were surrounded by all their family and friends from near and far, with cousins having flown in from the USA too.
A little time together
Chris and Lorraine loved their down time in the quiet of Fletcher Moss Park, it really is the only time you get to have a good natter and take in the fact that you’ve just got married. So as these two got used to their new status as husband and wife we snapped our creative way around them to create a few of our Pixies in the Cellar images surrounded by the Manchester greenery.
Back at Didsbury House Hotel the party continued into the night with Undercover providing the perfect musical backdrop to some fab wedding moves!
Amazing wedding, amazing couple, amazing venue – a perfect day :)
