We were helped along at this Radisson Blu Edwardian winter wedding by two perfect strangers spreading the Manchester love to make our Pixie job easier, huge thank you’s to them both :)

Our third wedding at the Radisson Blu Edwardian, but our first wedding ceremony held at the hotel. Simon and Vicky had gone for a rustic theme with gorgeous hand drawn table names of wild animals. (I’ve just noticed the girls PJ’s matched the table cards too, now that’s good planning!!) Venue design and flowers by the very able Flower Design, who were on hand to make sure everything looked great for the day.

With all the guests assembled warm and dry inside, whilst the cold November rains fell in the city streets outside, time for Vicky and her bridesmaids to descend from their room to the ceremony a few floors below! A short and sweet ceremony and they’d tied the knot, time to celebrate with winter Pimms, hugs and kisses! Vicky had wanted to visit the Christmas markets for a few pics but the rain and wind just wasn’t appealing, so we made the most of the glitzy interiors of the Radisson. This is where our first thanks go, to the family whose afternoon tea we interrupted and to the man who helped in moving along some other folk who were stood in the way of the perfect shot. Thank you :)

Simon and Vicky’s wedding day was given a bit of extra razzmatazz in the form of the very brilliant wedding singer and entertainer Paul Guard, who kept the party spirit well and truly alive – where, as well as his great singing everyone was very much involved too.

Speeches and formalities out of the way and the rain had eased up for a few mins so we headed out to the city streets for a few Manchester night time shots. This is where our second thanks go to the girl sat near the Bridgewater Hall who helped by volunteering to hold an umbrella for us – Thank you :)

Into the night the dancing continued in front of their epic ‘The Grimleys’ sign, from The Word is Love! A really great Radisson Blu Edwardian Winter Wedding, we loved taking in the city lights of Manchester, cosy winter atmosphere and a bit of hotel bling too :) Congratulations to Simon and Vicky!
