So here it is… a snap shot of 2015, not necessarily our best wedding photography (coz best is soooo tricky to define!) from Pixies in the Cellar but some of our faves from 2015.

So how would we describe our 2015? Our wedding photography year began on Valentines day (how apt) with weddings across Yorkshire and Cheshire, into March we flew off to Romania for a Fearless Photographers conference, an inspiration, meeting up with some of the worlds best wedding photographers. Romania is an amazing country too, well worth a visit, easy on the wallet, gorgeous scenery and fantastically friendly people (we don’t work for the Romanian tourist board, honest!)

Wedding awards, great brides & grooms, laughter, tears & epic training

Well, then it all become a blur – wedding season full on, right through to New Years Eve, Peter also managed to fit in another inspiring world class photography gathering at NineDots in ‘that London’ along with a few pubs in between the training! Along the way we’ve met some amazing people, experienced emotion from tears to laughter, our first Hindu wedding, shot the weddings for three professional wedding photographers, achieved our first Fearless Award, achieved seven MyWed Editors Choice Awards and managed first position in their Manchester area. Been to loads of new venues and pretty much filled our calendar for this year to do it all again :)

2016 weddings here we come…..

…..looking forward to a few castles, Lake District vistas, a cathedral, an old Derbyshire cotton mill, a garden party, a barn or two alongside all our usual favourite venues :) See you all out there! Love Pete & Sara  (aka “The Pixies”) xx
