St. James’ Church Stockton Heath and Hyde Bank Farm wedding – An English girl meets Brooklyn boy, with fairytale ending :)

A Hyde Bank Farm wedding was the obvious choice for a rustic styled English country wedding venue in Cheshire, with lush greenery and a great barn reception room. Having met in the United States and living over in New York, Alison-Jane and Daniel relied on Alison’s mum to make their day run like clockwork and it did, in fact it ran early (unheard of!!!)

Church wedding ceremony at St.James’ church in Stockton Heath

The day began in Stockton Heath, for their church service in Alison-Jane’s family church, St.James’, the boys and American contingent were getting ready just up the road at The Amado Boutique Hotel. The church was decorated with loads of rustic jam-jar pew ends, lovingly made by bride, groom and the bride’s mum.

Across the county of Cheshire for a Hyde Bank Farm wedding reception

At Hyde Bank Farm we took advantage of the close by factory, as Daniel really liked the idea of some gritty images, and obviously so did we! After we’d done the ‘rough and ready’ look we made the most of the gorgeous greenery on offer surrounding Hyde Bank Farm, for a more wedding-y feel to their photography :)

Back at the farm everyone was enjoying their reception drinks and canapes, the children making the most of the play stables, whilst the adults spread themselves throughout the gardens and the newly redecorated downstairs bar area, adorned with union jack and stars and stripes homemade bunting :) The jam-jars had made their journey from church to make the rustic table centres for the wedding breakfast room, with lace tablecloths and hessian chair detail this simple scheme worked brilliantly in the barn, a DIY wedding feel done perfectly :)

Fish and chips and live music a perfect finale to a great Hyde Bank Farm Wedding

Into the evening the partying began, with Breaker Live band entertaining everyone only interrupted by the arrival of both sausage butties and some very very delicious smelling proper English fish and chips.
