Manchester’s hidden rustic gem – Hyde Bank Farm Wedding Photography

‘Hi Pixies -What a lovely afternoon treat- you made me cry (happy tears) – Thanks so much, Steph X ‘ (Preview images)
‘We don’t even know where to begin but a huge THANKYOU would be a good starting point! We are overwhelmed with our beautiful photos and spent 6+ hours looking through them and sharing with friends and family last night. – Speak soon, Steph & Alex :) X ‘

So it was finally time for the wedding of one of our very own Facebook stalkers ;) Step had been liking and loving our fb stuff forever well it seemed that way, so no pressure there then!

Chilled and relaxed prep in Congleton

Steph had chosen to have her make-up done in a studio in Congleton rather than the chaos come to her house. This initailly seemed the best plan until it was Congleton carnival weekend with umpteen road closures! But it was all rearranged to happen a  little earlier to miss the road closures, so Pete went off to the studio whilst I was at Steph’s house with her bridesmaids and bridesman (who doubled as MUA for the bridesmaids too!) One of Steph’s bridesmaids also doubled as the florist so Steph had chosen well there for her helpers!!

Hyde Bank Farm nerves

Leaving Pete with the girls I headed off to Hyde Bank Farm in Romiley. Alex was looking quite the part for a rustic affair and his best man looking like a very anxious man indeed – head in hands pouring over his speech! Steph finally arrived having not only negotiated Congleton road closures but also traffic along the way due to other carnivals taking place too – another thing to take into account for in a summer wedding!

Vows, speeches, sparkle, waffle, nosh then pics

That just about sums it up! Married under the old oak beams surrounded by their nearest and dearest these two were now Mr & Mrs – just time for some family photos and a few glasses of the fizzy stuff before it was back upstairs for speeches. The best man could finally breathe a sigh of relief and enjoy his food :) With the luxury of summer light we headed off early evening to take in everything around and about Hyde Bank Farm, including the paper factory which Steph & Alex had mentioned they liked too :)

An absolutely amazing wedding day with two super genuinely lovely people too, can’t go wrong really – thanks for having us along to share and document your day :)

Congrats Steph & Alex
