Early Spring engagement shoot around Dovestones reservoir, only a short drive from Manchester but with a definite out in the wilds feel.

Yasmin & Pratik enquired about our availability to shoot their wedding in London after finding us on the Fearless Photographers website, unfortunately we were already booked on their wedding day. But, Yasmin still really wanted us to shoot their engagement session, so they drove up from London just for this, we were very humbled by their effort.

Engagement shoot Manchester countryside scrubs up well!

Dovestones reservoir in Greenfield was chosen as they wanted a countryside feel. Rugged landscapes with mountainous character and towering conifers around Dovestones made this the ideal late winter/early spring location.

Into the evening for a bit of sparkle

They particularly chose us for our style of lit evening and night time images, so we started shooting early evening, finishing off after dark as we simply had to include a couple of these punchy night shots.

Special thanks to The Saddleworth Hotel for accommodating Yasmin and Pratik for a quick coffee and a warm whilst we were setting up their final shot. We loved taking these images, especially as our ‘bride and groom to be’ were up for all the energetic climbing involved in some of these images.
