This was our second Haigh Hall Wedding, this time the sun and light was on our side, compared to the winters day last December – today was Joanne and David’s day in seamless Lancashire sunshine.
We met Joanne, her sister and niece at the local hairdressers a short walk from her parents house, all was very calm and collected! Next stop the St. John the Baptist church along with the button holes for all the boys, Pixie delivery all included in the service :) A great church service with a great poem written by one of their friends and the vicar even had fizz at the ready for signing the register :)
Once at Haigh Hall we made for the canal bridges at the bottom of the park, whilst guests made their way to the venue. A few minutes around the canal with Joanne and David and we headed back up to start the party! Into the evening we made a bee-line for the Haigh windmill, a quick break from the guests before the dancing began – we left the newly weds eager to start their married life with a honeymoon in Venice.
