This was one very hot Deanwater Hotel Wedding!
Everyone wishes for great weather for their wedding day, but I guess there’s a reason why they don’t get married until the evening in all those hot countries! Phewph!
Laura and Ian, had their whole day at the Deanwater Hotel. Laura prepared for the day between two rooms, fortunately her bridesman had bagged one of the newly refurbished air conditioned rooms – so after hair and make was done the girls all moved to the luxury of the air conditioning for final getting ready stages. It was a purple theme, we’ve not had too much purple this year (not like a few years ago!) and all the bridesmaids had Two Birds dresses, so could choose the style which suited them best :) The bridesmaids dresses looked great and the different ways of tying the top half added a little extra to the styling of the day. Laura’s dress was a light cappuccino colour (or latte as I always like to call it) with plenty of detail in the form of tiny roses and embroidered edging, not like one we’ve seen before but it looked fab :)
Deanwater hotel wedding ceremony
This was the first time we’d covered a ceremony for a Deanwater Hotel Wedding, but the room looked great, with gorgeous summery light coming through the big picture windows. Laura and Ian had opted for a shorter ceremony, with no readings, so before we knew it they were signing the register and it was time to get outside and enjoy the stunning weather, along with a glass of Pimms.
Time for a few photos and to cool of in the shade of the woods
Whilst we wandered through the woods with Laura and Ian, everyone was happy soaking up the rays or cooling off in the shade, with Ian the magician keeping the smiles flowing. The kids were kept entertained by all the garden games, they seemed to commander the new gazebo as games central.
