A Rowton Hall Wedding, to brighten up those gloomy months of winter!
Jai & Mish organised their wedding, quite perfectly, in just under 3 months and even had time to make lots of their own details too!
Lightening and hail stones!
The day started with a bang quite literally and a huge flash of lightening, just as we’d finished a few shots of the boys, sending them scurrying inside before the giant hailstones pummelled the sun room – very loudly! Meanwhile Mish was on her way down the M53, with her dad in their classic yellow 1950’s Ford Capri, only loosing a windsreen wiper en route!
The whole day had a great modern/vintage feel, great suits and funky shirts for Jai and his best man – whilst Mish took the brave decision to be herself by wearing her glasses, which we think looked amazing and complimented the whole look of the day.
Personal touches for a unique feel
Jai had made a ‘signing bench’, a great idea, along with card/pressie box and signs for the road to Rowton Hall Hotel. A first for us was the rice crispie wedding cake, perfectly topped with playmobil Mr & Mrs figures. With a few tears from the best man and then onto a few night time shots involving sparklers and some Pixie magic too – Jai and Mish had got engaged on bonfire night, so the pyrotechnic theme was very relevant. We may have gone a little overboard with the sparkler theme again! :)
A really brilliant day, all carried out in less than three months, a credit to the new Mr & Mrs Laird :)
