A Cheshire Winter Wedding, with those dark silhouetted winter trees and brooding skies.

The day started at in relative calm, of Emma and Alistairs house, accompanied of course by yummy bacon butties!

Emma and Alistair then had a really relaxed and friendly church service at St. Mary Magdalene’s in Sale, where the vicar turned out to be a family friend of Sara’s! All credit has to go to one of Emma’s bridesmaids, who had just given birth, by C-section, only a couple of weeks ago!

The rest of the day was to be spent at Mere Golf Club, so we arranged for a few shots at the gatehouse – a signature feature of the newly refurbished golf club, spa and hotel. Being a strict golf club we were quite limited with our Pixie creative ‘off-roading’ style and flair, as at this venue bride, groom and photographer are chaperoned by a member of staff! In spite of this we used the drama of the circular paved areas to great effect, for some dramatic shots.
