Stockport church wedding ceremony followed by Pinewood Hotel wedding reception in Wilmslow
Charlene and Ashley tied the knot at Our Lady The Apostle in Stockport, a rather magnificent red brick church with handy ‘local’ nearby for the pre-wedding drinks to calm those nerves!
Lilac colour co-ordination
The bridesmaids arrived by colour co-ordinated lilac taxi!! Charlene the bride in the very wedding-y classic Beauford from High-Style Cars. The ceremony was accompanied by Silver Bells, an amazing sound from a flute quartet and impromptu choir for one of the hymns! Charlene and Ashley wanted a big group shot inside the church, so no sooner had they walked down the aisle then they were back in the church walking back down again!
Pinewood Hotel wedding reception
Everyone then moved onto the reception at The Pinewood, Wilmslow, taking advantage of the near perfect weather and the lush green gardens. Being ‘The Pixies’ we also took advantage of the slightly decaying pub next door for some more contemporary and gritty shots… well, it’s rude not to! :)
