Our 2013 Hargate Hall Wedding, it seems to be a yearly visit!! :)
When Helen and Philip first met us to chat about their Hargate Hall wedding plans, Philip was full of ideas to encompass his gymnastic abilities into their wedding photos. Alas 18 months later and a shoulder injury put Philip out of normal action :( He did manage to express a little of his gymnastic prowess, with moves many of us would definitely struggle with!
Wedding cancelled?!
As soon as we arrived Phil and his friends humour was evident. A blackboard announcing the cancellation of the wedding – good job we knew they were joking! As ever at Hargate Hall, the day commenced with the promise of it’s very own timeless, rustic and relaxed atmosphere (along with chickens!), all very poetic until we walked in on Phil and his best man ironing in their bright pink boxers :)
Chilled out wedding day with a smattering of bride and groom shots
The whole day was chilled-out, fun and action-packed. Helen and Phil were determined to get the most from their photography so gave the ‘Pixies’ the option to grab them when an opportune moment occurred. Such an opportune moment did occur during their wedding breakfast… sunset. So we dived in the car and took a five minute drive to a stunning and idyllic Peak District landscape spot, where we captured a variety of arty signature portraits. Then returned to finish their dessert! :)
Another fabulous Hargate Hall Wedding – yay!
Helen and Philip are an amazing couple who gave us the privilege to capture their fun-packed, energetic and laid-back wedding day in the only way we know how… Pixie style!
