Manchester University Wedding at Whitworth Chambers and Christie Bistro
Cassie and Ryan’s day was everything it should have been. Classy yet understated, stunning floaty wedding dress, loads of smiley family and friends, rain for that extra ‘summer in Manchester’ dimension and an epic party to finish the night off. All the boxes ticked, can’t go wrong with this dapper couple surrounded by such stunning architecture.
Whitworth Hall and Chambers
We love this space on Oxford Road. Gorgeous architecture and that air of history which adds to the occasion of the day. Friends family and all four Grandma’s gathered to witness Ryan and Cassie tying the knot. Childhood sweethearts from Sale Grammar, these two had plenty of history together – today just sealed the deal :)
Rainy day – no problem this is Manchester we got it covered.
With the usual August temperamental weather, this Manchester venue is perfect. An indoor outdoor confetti run. Group photos under cover the archway through to the inner quad. This place was almost built with Manchester weddings in mind.
Early evening wedding photos.
With all the speeches done and formalities over, a bit of time together after the wedding breakfast was just enough to grab a few couple photos in and around the Oxford Road venue. These two loved the stairs in Whitworth Hall and why wouldn’t you. So it would have been rude not to grab a few pics here. After a bit of greenery in the quad, a very quick walk down Oxford Road, passing the huge queues for a long awaited gig for many at The Academy, plenty of extra congratulations from all those friendly Mancunians :)
To top the night off these two and all their friends certainly knew how to party. Amazing tunes from the DJ and so much energy from everyone – a night to remember.
So the deal was done – Ryan & Cassie jetted off for some R&R and I’m sure more sun than Manchester could muster, to the Greek idyll of Mykonos.
