Prestwold Hall Wedding, with the fullest wedding schedule ever!
So everyone who saw Teresa’s schedule for the big day nearly fainted! It was jam packed full, Teresa had a clear vision of her day, with a French Marie Antoinette theme running throughout the decoration and complementing the amazing interiors of the hall.
Aaron and the guys arrived looking very daper in their tux, with just a few minutes before Teresa and her girls arrived for finishing touches in the bridal prep rooms at Prestwold. Along with Teresa and her entourage, came their little dog, also in tux – looking a little frustrated that he couldn’t run around and enjoy the Prestwold gardens! With lots to do and not much time, bridal prep was a somewhat of a whirlwind – especially with three dresses to photograph! Yes three!!!!
With the church just minutes down the road, Prestwold Hall really does tick all the boxes for a one site wedding in all its grandeur. Bridesmaids were first to take to the carriage, pulled by two stunning dappled grey horses, they then waited on for Teresa and her dad to arrive down the long drive. The church was prepared and dressed with as much attention to detail as everywhere else, with the soft dusty pink as a theme throughout, nothing had been left to chance!
After the service the Master of Ceremonies appeared, phewph this was one wedding where his voice and composure over a hectic day would be truly appreciated – first duties using his vocal prowess over the sound of the church bells! Back at the hall with drinks and canapés flowing, groups efficiently completed and time for the dove release into the Leicestershire countryside, a super speedy portrait session in the gardens before dress change number one!
From Provonias princess bride to Oriental wonder, resplendent in red Teresa returned for the Tea ceremony, along with their dog in his Chinese outfit too! This is the second tea ceremony we have attended and they’re such great documentary moments, filled with emotion and love. Quickly moving on to an impromptu concert by their church friends, then Teresa was off again for dress change number two, a classic rich beaded Justin Alexander number and a whole hair style change too!
Just before the seven speeches and cutting of the giant cake, we managed to catch Teresa and Aaron for a few more portrait shots, as they were very very keen to have some good portraits of themselves and loved the “Pixie” style. In the fashion of the day first dance was instantly after the speeches, this was the quickest lighting set up we’ve ever done – before we could breathe it was outside for fireworks! Back inside the party began, with photo booth pics to be taken, a fantastic band for dancing and then the hog roast too! What an amazing memorable Prestwold Hall wedding day!
