Our second visit for an Eaves Hall Wedding, with a fair bit of ‘Lancashire sunshine’!
Danielle and Dean were dreaming of those long summer Eaves Hall wedding days with fizz and croquet on the lawn whilst the notes of the string quartet drifted lazily through the summery breeze….quite poetic, but the British summer had other plans! Fortunately their wedding was at one of the best venues for wet weather and photography, as at Eaves Hall it’s sooooo gorgeous inside too, as well as the amazing preened gardens outside.
Time for a wedding, let the preparations begin…
The boys took up residence in The Lodge at the bottom of the drive. A great space for either side of the bridal party to get ready, with three rooms as well as a lounge area and dining room too. All very cute, with modern country house decor. The girls had obviously thought it through and planned for rain as they got ready just above the ceremony room in the main house.
Danielle and Dean had loads of little details, with an order of the day, order of service and even personalised sparklers (as it was Independence Day.) All these little touches with the grand feel of Eaves Hall added up to a great wedding day which even the rain couldn’t put a cloud on, so there rain! Our second Lancashire wedding this week and we’ve noticed these Lancashire registrars have an extra bit to the ceremony, where the witnesses have to stand up to ‘witness’ the actual legal bit, I suppose it’s only fair as that’s their job, but just different to other counties – handy to know if you’re tying the knot in Lancashire :)
Classic clean whites, fit for a wedding!
The ceremony room at Eaves Hall looked fab and very classy, as is befitting to the venue. Simple white bows adorned the chivari bamboo style chairs, huge white sashes draped from the ceiling, very bridal and all reflected in those funky sparkly mirrors, all very light and bright great for photos :)
Celebratory drinks in the rich hallway of Eaves Hall, with the string quartet playing under the grand staircase, it certainly had the feel of a country house wedding. Big group shot under the grand veranda, at least the guests stayed dry, can’t say the same about us Pixies! The time seemed to whizz by and it was time for everyone to tuck in to their meal before we knew it, the beauty of summer days it’s light forever, so our main bride and groom portrait session was postponed until after the wedding breakfast and perhaps it would have stopped raining then too :)
Time for a wander
Speeches done and dusted and it had stop raining :))) So time for a few outdoor shots as Danielle was very keen to make the most of the grounds at Eaves Hall, and why ever not as they’re so gorgeous! For the evening, Gillan (Scottish so think fishes breathing apparatus and not girls name!) kicked things of with some great songs from his extensive repertoire. The party was certainly in full swing by the time Danielle and Dean hit the floor for their first dance. A quick sparkler moment before we left, and a longing look at those delicious ice creams :-)
See you soon for another Eaves Hall Wedding, back here again in a few weeks time :)
