A very intimate Manchester Town Hall Wedding, for this great Manchester couple originally from Moldova.
As small as weddings can get, this was our very first bride and groom only wedding! Irina was just crazy for pictures though and lots of them!
We arrived and met Vadim waiting pensively for his bride on the town hall steps. This was Irina’s ‘princess’ day and she arrived in style in a Landau style red and cream bridal car. Irina had planned her arrival half an hour before the ceremony, to fit in some more pictures! We normally shoot Friday or Saturday weddings at the Town Hall, but today was a Sunday, a serene atmosphere filled the great corridors of the town hall and we were able to take advantage of the lack of other people milling around.
The wedding took place in the small ante-room, normally where brides take five minutes to prepare for their entrance in to the ceremony room, but this room was just perfect for this bijou ceremony :) Ceremony over, Irina was eager to get on and take as many pictures as possible before they were whisked off to enjoy the rest of their wedding day. Being one of our favourite venues we were enjoying this almost as much as Irina, with plenty of time and no-one else around we had a field day – we could have carried on for ever and so could Irina (not sure Vadim was as enthusiastic!) :)
Thanks Irina and Vadim, for letting us share your special day and for all the many amazing poses Irina had up her sleeve, for her ultimate princess shoot! Felicitări or Поздравляю ;)
