London Look, Winter Wedding at The Villa, Wrea Green in chilly Lancashire – December 2012
It always add’s a little extra pressure when you’re photographing a wedding photographers wedding which was the case here. Joanna and her Dad have successfully been shooting weddings for many years so you can imagine how picky she was when choosing a photographer! I was even mentioned in the speeches… most uncomfortable when the observer becomes the observed! :)
Joanna and Tim are a really fantastic couple who love anything to do with the great outdoors, their pre-wedding shoot illustrated this perfectly. Their wedding took place at The Villa, Wrea Green near Preston and had a definite ‘London’ theme, with a big shinny red bus for their drinks reception drive around Lytham St Anne’s, ‘mind the gap’ (tube) bar matts and London themed table decorations together with a specially ‘artist’ commissioned London underground table plan, the wedding also had a very colourful and trendy feel with the addition of a quantity of rainbow umbrellas which were certainly put to good use (both visually and practically!). Joanna & Tim also hire out their mini for weddings – Classic Mini Weddings.
The day mellowed through a very chilled-out set of speeches in the lounge onto a brilliantly spirited night reception in the Villa’s hugely impressive (and very toasty) marquee.
