Sarah and Chris booked us a couple of years ago, originally destined for The Saddleworth Hotel but later changed to The Red Hall Hotel in Bury, nice hotel if not slightly challenging for us photographers, fear not, we located a few little areas dotted about… nice bit of grass, some trees and a great little bar area inside (take a look at the lounge photo and check out the paintings on the wall  :) We also found a great little industrial area just across the road, this was just perfect for some quirky shots.

Following Sarah & Chris’s ceremony all the guests filtered across the car park to a decked area for a large group photo, followed by smaller group shots on a small grass embankment right on the edge of the car park (you’d never guess looking at their photos).
Captured some nice intimate couple shots in this same tiny area, then out the gate, down the road and on to a very summery sun-drenched field complete with derelict rural stone building… great for some fashion-type shots. Then on to our newly-found industrial area complete with tiny transport cafe, very derelict buildings, piles of truck tyres… spoilt for choice here. It’s quite ironic how some photographically ‘challenging’ wedding venues can yield the most rewarding locations if you take to the time to look :)
Speeches before the wedding breakfast and a surprise 30th birthday pressie for Chris too, an iPad – perfect for viewing all their wedding pic’s :)
