Spring Wedding in the Scottish Borders, near Hawick, at Hoscote House Country Estate.
Kerry and Paul, were from Stalybridge, just like the “Pixies” but had decided to celebrate their special day in the amazing setting that is Hoscote House.
Scottish Country House wedding
A small country house on a large estate, which also has self catering cottages dotted about the estate for guests to stay in too, as well as the main house. Even though it’s just inside the Scottish border it still had a very Scottish feel, with stunning countryside all around.
Plenty of animals in on the wedding party action!
The colour’s were a latte/coffee colour complemented with a dusky pink for the tiny bridesmaids, who were very cute indeed! Animals made a few entrances during the day, from the Highland cattle chewing the cud in the ajoining fields, to the tiny owl delivering the rings and the unexpected added wedding guest of a newly born lamb! It was a great day, a bit breezy and cool for an outdoor ceremony but warm enough for pics outside and to enjoy the surroundings.
Party & pencil moves :)
With first dance over the party was in full swing, along with a great caricaturist entertaining everyone with his “flattering” sketches. Huge congrats to Kerry & Paul and all their family too :) For a more recent Hoscote House wedding in 2013, with a gorgeous outdoor ceremony on the blog or for another Gentlemens residence wedding with an outdoor ceremony in The Peak District.
