A rainy Eaves Hall wedding.

We met Deborah (the bride) on a gorgeous sunny day at Eaves Hall last year. Our reci of Eaves Hall was a similar sun-drenched painted scene… However, it rained from lunchtime til early evening the day of the wedding, but it certainly wasn’t a problem for the bride, she was going to enjoy her day no matter what and she did… and made everyone else enjoy her day too, including the rain!

This was certainly a spirited and incredibly positive day. The bride told us and her guests that the photographs were one of the most important aspects of her wedding (no pressure then!) and she didn’t hold back… Deborah and Dave were great in front of the camera… by simply being themselves :)

More important than the wedding photos were photos of their young family. Their children meant everything to them so they joined us outside (after the rain finally stopped!) for a variety of great family images. It felt great to be capturing such a pivotal moment in their life.

Eaves Hall is a magnificent wedding venue, grand and stately rooms with dark rich corridors leading to a variety of eclectic spaces with amazing light pouring in. Gardens that wouldn’t be out of place in a palace, together with a small pocket of wild woods made this wedding beautiful, even in the rain! :)
