If you’re familiar with The Saddleworth Hotel you’ll almost certainly recognise the detailing and character of this hotel… Dalston Hall Hotel is a 16th century castle close to the north Lakes in Cumbria.
Anthony from the Saddleworth asked me to photograph the rooms and great hall and what a privilege… We spent twelve hours shooting, in fact most of the time was involved with setting up lighting.
We were then wined and dined to a standard rarely experienced (we’re a fish ‘n’ chips sort of couple! :) then finished the night off being beaten miserably at pool – huh :(
The hotel is a fusion of modern chic and medieval character, all set in magnificent gardens and countryside – I can’t recommend this place enough if you’re thinking of tying the knot in or around the Lake District. But don’t take my word for it, check out these images :)
