A Bartle Hall Wedding, spring flowers abound, unique table plan and great fun bride and groom :)
The day started in Pennington, with Sam getting ready at her parents house, then moving on to their local church – a short drive to Christ Church, Pennington. The morning had a really great atmosphere, lots of smiles, laughter and no stress to be seen, perfect :)
Church wedding ceremony
Family and friends filled the church and the driveway able-y directed by the ushers/car park attendants! Great job guys! After a relaxed and friendly ceremony, with another very young vicar…either we’re getting old or they’re all getting younger! A few shots in and around the church then we were off to Bartle Hall, near to Preston.
Music and fizz at Bartle Hall
Reception drinks and canapés were accompanied by a very able saxophonist, complimenting the chilled out vibe perfectly as spring light bathed the rich bar room area. A rustic card table and guest jigsaw kept guests entertained whilst we wandered through the gardens of Bartle Hall. We made a bee line for the tyre swing, Sam had specially requested some shots on the tyre swing and who were we to say no ;) Great fun! As it was spring it would have been rude to ignore all those daffodils, so off to the wooded area and the yellow flowers, as Peter called them – good job he’s not a gardener!
Bath time!
Then request number two was the bath tub in the bridal suite and to capture those bright blue bridal shoes too :) Just before the wedding breakfast another request from Sam was some crazy bridal party shots…she actually wanted all the groomsmen to jump over herself and the bridesmaids…..a quick assessment of the groomsmens jumping abilities….hmmmm so we decided on just jumping behind them!
An amazing day, Sam & Scott were up for everything and anything, with loads of their own ideas too – great details too, with copious quantities of Spring flowers and the step ladder table plan :)
