A surprise Scottish piper was the order of the day for this wedding…not sure how secret you can keep someone with a loud set of pipes ;)
Jenny and Duncan, both love the sound of pipes and I have to admit the goosebumps did get me at one point too! Duncan arrived in style, in the cool clean lines of the Maserati and soon got to work with the help of his best man and usher adding the finishing touches to the tables. Meanwhile Peter was enjoying the gorgeous light and dark interiors at Jenny’s parents house in Chorlton. So all was set for an outdoor ceremony under the ornate gazebo, Jenny processed in the traditional order, with piper first, what an intro followed by Jenny and her dad, then her two bridesmaids. It was a pretty emotional ceremony with a few tears shed and eyes being dapped! And with our favourite registrar too!
A stroll around the grounds, drinks and canapés with guests and it was time for more pipe music as Jenny & Duncan entered the grand ballroom, what an a amazing sound :) As everyone enjoyed their wedding breakfast we were hatching a plan for later, making the most of the building equipment they have on site currently….see our sneaky almost ariel shot!
