Peckforton Castle Wedding photography by Pixies in the Cellar, for a late May Cheshire wedding.
The day started with a monsoon, so at least the skies had emptied in time for Helen & Adam’s big day! Helen and the girls had a relaxing morning, all getting ready at Peckforton Castle, just a trip in the lift down to the spa for hair, then finishing touches back in their sumptuous room.
Peckforton Castle wedding ceremony & reception drink in the sun
Peckforton Castle in so rich and dark inside which made for good moody shots of the groom and groomsmen setting up for the wedding ceremony in the Great Hall. A personal memorable ceremony with three readings from close friends, very apt harp accompaniment and not forgetting the surprise owl ring delivery too! Helen and Adam left the Great Hall to a storm of confetti as the new Mr & Mrs Rodgers out into the fairytale castle courtyard surrounded by the rich red walls of the castle and even a glimmer of sunshine too!
An evening stroll in the woods
Helen and Adam are a fantastic couple with loads of laughs throughout the day and up for a walk into the fern covered woodland later in the evening too. Into the night their Peckforton Castle wedding continued in style with Strings Attached playing the night away under the purple hues and great lighting from Hipswing Entertainment, which added another twist to their dancing photos!
