An early spring Peruga wedding in Marple – with kinder eggs and surf boards too!

The day started at Liz’s parents house, it was very very calm and collected, we’re used to chaos and lots of commotion at this point but everyone was very relaxed indeed! Liz’s dad had made sure the front of the house had a spring theme with lots of daffodils, which he’d apparently been talking to so they’d flower in time for the wedding!

St.Michael and All Angels – a church wedding ceremony with style in Ashton-under-lyne

At the church was where we found our chaos, Jimmy known for his lack of time keeping had got ready in five minutes and was running around in a very very nervous state! We were back for our second wedding at St.Michael and All Angels church in Ashton-under-lyne, an absolutely stunning church with gorgeous dark wooden interiors. Inside the guests were greeted by the tunes of Adamson’s Brass Band, of which Liz is a member – they sounded great with the acoustics of the church too :)

Jimmy just about made it through his vows without the tears flowing, whilst Liz just got the giggles! A grand exit to the brass band and congratulations flowed from family and friends in the spring sunshine but rather nippy wind outside. A few shots inside the church, making the most of its gorgeous interiors then the newly weds hit the road in their VW camper, a treat for Jimmy and Liz from their bridesmaids!

Peruga wedding reception, real ales, pooh bear and Easter wedding favours

Peruga is a great Cheshire wedding venue (almost in Derbyshire too!), on the boundaries of Stockport making the most of expansive views across the lush green Etherow valley. Fizz and bespoke conditioned ales in the marquee were welcome refreshment for the guests whilst we nipped off for a few pics in the gardens. Personalised eggcups with kinder eggs greeted the guests for the wedding breakfast, a great idea as everyone was entertained making up their kinder egg toy!

Into the evening we couldn’t resist a few photos with the surfboard as the sun went down, not often we get surfboards at Cheshire wedding venues! We left Liz and Jimmy to party the night away before their surfing mini-moon in Devon. Congratulations Mr & Mrs Adcock on a fantastic Peruga wedding day :)
