How many photographs will you take? The amount of photographs depends on a number of factors including; weather, season (short days in winter), size of wedding party and most importantly the time allocated for photographs. Itinerarys rarely run to schedule so, please allow plenty of time in your planning for the group and couple photographs. Quality of images should always take priority over quantity. As a guide, a summer wedding will yeald in excess of 350 enhanced images and winter approximately 250 - ideal for creating a beautiful wedding album.
When will the photographs be ready? You’ll be presented with your images, proof book or online gallery approximately four weeks after your wedding day (maybe a little longer in summer).
Do you photograph everyone at the wedding? I endeavour to photograph as many people as possible in a comfortable and interesting repose, unfortunately some people are camera shy and will move away, some people simply don’t want their picture taken and others just get unlucky. An additional photographer being present will increase the amount of reportage images. But, if there are people you specifically want photographing just give me a nod. The best time to photograph everyone in a big group is immediately following the service.
How much time should we allow for photographs? Ten group shots would take about 30 to 40 minutes from start to finish. Immediately after the group photography is the ideal time for bride and groom shots, where we'd take a break from the wedding party and spend about 40 minutes on your photographs. Please bare in mind good photography can’t be rushed.
Will you need any assistance? Yes, if you are having group shots people will need to be assembled by your ushers, once the correct people have been assembled I can then arrange them.
Do we need to meet? Ideally yes, just so we get a better understanding of each other, not to mention recognising each other too. A second meeting within a week of your wedding is also a good idea, to finalise the details and so eliminate any last minute surprises.
Some Small Print! Payment - £100 deposit would be required at time of booking, the remainder paid two weeks prior to your wedding day.
