I have been an artist for as long as I can remember. It has been the one genuine and consistent outlet for my creativity throughout my life.

As a graphic designer, I was often called upon to reproduce paintings by various old masters like Gainsborough, Renoir, Rembrandt even Picasso (oils on canvas) and to create paintings in the style of more recent masters including Giger (airbrush and ink) and Di Maccio (mixed media).

This experience and technically creative background has enabled me to overcome any limitations or restraints of painting in the digital format. In the creation of these digital images I utilise the same painting and graphic techniques acquired over many years, ie glazing, layering, airbrushing, colour washing, photography, image manipulation and delicate brushwork etc coupled with an acute attention to subtle nuances and detail.

This style of imagery is inspired by the works of Rembrandt and Di Maccio with hints of Giger, drawing on a deep fascination with light and shade over human form and the depth of their situation.

All images are utterly unique, only one artwork will ever be sold of each finished image.
